Alison Schmidt's jewellery designs balance artistry with precision. Her pieces are recognisable for their confident use of colour, refined detailing, and an understated sense of luxury. From diamonds to rare gemstones, every material is chosen for its beauty and character — assembled into compositions that feel both timeless and distinctly personal.
Aligned with her slow-fashion values, Alison Schmidt Jewellery offers a small, focused collection of enduring pieces, growing gradually and intentionally.
But behind the beautiful craftsmanship was an unsustainable business model that was draining her time and limiting growth.
The Challenge
Alison had been offering custom jewellery design — a deeply personal service that should have been the heart of her business. Instead, it was consuming all her time.
The problem wasn't the craft. It was the process.
Each custom order required extensive back-and-forth communication with the customer, multiple rounds of design illustration refinements, and careful project management before a single piece could be made.
The result: Alison was spending all her time managing custom orders and almost no time marketing her work or growing her business. She was stuck in a cycle of admin-heavy sales that didn't scale.
She needed a way to maintain the personal, considered nature of her brand while creating space to actually build and grow it.
And from a design perspective, luxury products demand minimal, refined layouts that let the product speak for itself. Her online presence needed to reflect the same level of craft and intention as her jewellery.
