As of 2026, Shopify's native B2B features — company accounts, wholesale catalogs, trade pricing and net terms — are no longer locked behind the Plus subscription. B2B is now available on Basic and Grow plans. The problem is it's confusing - scattered across your admin with no clear starting point.

This course is the path through it. In short, screen-recorded lessons, you'll build a complete wholesale system step by step — and by Sunday night you'll have it live on your store and tested end to end.

What you'll learn

A fully-functional B2B system within your existing Shopify store:

  • A branded application page where stockists apply.
  • A review-and-approve workflow that keeps you in control of who gets trade access.
  • Wholesale pricing that applies when an approved buyer logs in.
  • Minimum quantity rules enforced at checkout.
  • Net payment terms and PO numbers for the buyers who need them.
  • Wholesale orders held for your review, so you set shipping and confirm terms before you invoice.
  • Automated onboarding emails that welcome new accounts and guide them to a first order.

Built with Shopify's own tools: Markets, Catalogs, and Companies, plus three free apps: Forms, Flow, and Email.

Who's it for

This course is for small and growing Shopify brands on the Basic or Grow plan who sell to boutiques, salons, and stockists, and have put wholesale off because native B2B seemed to difficult to set up or not possible.

This course provides easy, step-by-step video training, templates and wholesale SOPs for store owners, managers or team members to follow along in your own store admin.

About your instructor

I'm Meg Hodson, the designer and developer behind Nutmeg Studio. I've been a Verified Shopify Partner since 2019, with over ten years in eCommerce, working with product brands from my studio in Cape Town.

I've built a few wholesale systems for my Shopify clients. One thing I realised: it's tricky and confusing to get it right, especially for busy store owners and teams. This course is the version I wish I'd had: the same system, mapped out step by step, so you can build it in a weekend instead of a month.

Most of what I do comes down to one thing: taking something that looks complicated and making it feel simple. Shopify's native B2B is exactly that kind of problem. Everything you need is already there; it's just scattered, with no obvious place to start. I'll walk you through it, in order, until it's live on your store. I'd love you to join me on this next Shopify adventure!
