What was wrong with the old website?
The old website failed to reflect Sandra’s vision for the brand. She was dreaming of a beautiful website that attracted ideal clients and customers; a website that communicated her style, high-end service and brand values plus grew inquiries for her business.
I found the old website confusing and hard to use; it didn’t clearly communicate the business’s offering.
We elevated and refined the website design to communicate the beauty and quality of Farmgirl Flowers’ service offering. This involved creating a website style guide showing font pairings and colour palette. We designed gorgeous page layouts and selected beautiful imagery from the business’s media library. We rewrote and refined the website copy, with a focus on intuitive search engine optimisation.
Since launching the website, Farmgirl Flowers has seen a significant increase in qualified organic search traffic to the website, and resulting growth in inquiries for all of Farmgirl Flowers’ services. This is due to the SEO development, website restructuring and communications work I did during the rebuild. The website is now ranking on the first page of Google in South Africa for targeted keywords and phrases.
