The Brand

Thulisa Naturals is a woman-owned natural skincare business based in the US. Founder Anusha approached our studio looking for a Shopify makeover.

Sales-focused glow-up

We focused on creating a more shopping-focused homepage, while making sure to clearly highlight the brand’s values and product features prominently throughout the website.

The new homepage is bold, engaging and impactful, using video to visually communicate the experience of the brand’s bestselling shower steamer range.

The website had too many navigation links. The problem with this is that it overwhelms visitors. It’s (almost) always better to reduce the number of choices users need to make, especially with smaller inventory stores.

During the project, we focused on creating a simpler navigation menu with less links, improving the user experience.

Improving a website’s mobile shopping experience is about simplifying design.

The theme we chose for Thulisa Naturals makeover is called Pipeline. It’s a mobile-first, beautifully simple theme with conversion-focused features that align with a skincare brand.

Showing badges on product images is a wonderful way for skincare, beauty and wellness brands to distinguish their products and help the buyer make a decision. 

Thulisa Naturals’ website uses badges such as Bestseller, Customer Favourite and Holiday Favourite to highlight popular products on the collection pages.

Details like this help to improve the shopping experience.

The Result

A design refresh has given Thulisa Naturals’ website a stunning and impactful glow-up in time for the busy festive buying season. 

The new shopping-focused and mobile-first design makes it easy for people to browse and buy, while the brand’s values and product features are prominently highlighted throughout, enabling ethical shoppers to easily understand why they should support this woman-owned business.
